At Sterling BMW, we are committed to supporting our community during challenging times. In response to the recent wildfires in Southern California, we are proud to offer a disaster relief program to help those affected rebuild and move forward.
Through the remainder of January, eligible customers who have suffered the loss of a home or vehicle can take advantage of a $1,000 OL Code relief offer, with $500 contributed by BMW of North America and $500 by Sterling BMW. This program is available on all new 2024 and 2025 BMW models, providing flexibility and support when it’s needed most.
In addition, BMW Financial Services is offering a special 90 Days to First Payment program for new BMW retail installment contracts, exclusively for those impacted by the California wildfires. This initiative allows customers more time to get back on their feet while still enjoying the ultimate driving experience.

Program Requirements
To qualify for this relief credit, customers must:
- Provide proof of total home or vehicle loss from their insurance provider.
- Purchase any new 2024 or 2025 BMW model (Pre-Owned, CPO, and MINI vehicles do not qualify).
Payment Deferrals for Existing BMW Financial Services Customers
If you are an existing BMW Financial Services customer and have been impacted by the wildfires, you may be eligible for:
- Two (2) Payment Deferrals for Retail accounts.
- Two (2) Delayed Payments for Lease accounts.
Additionally, certain fees and charges may be waived, suppressed, or limited.
90 Days to First Payment on New BMW Purchases
For new BMW purchases, eligible customers can take advantage of a special 90 Days to First Payment program, providing up to three months before your first payment is due.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for this program, you must:
- Have a garaging address in California.
- Take delivery and sign your contract by March 2nd, 2025.
- Select a New BMW Retail Installment Contract (up to 72 months) using Regional or Sales Support programs.
- Meet BMW Financial Services’ credit tier requirements (Ultra, Super Elite, Elite, or Standard).
Important Details
- This offer applies only to new BMW purchases and does not include Select, OwnersChoice, Lease, or Pre-Pay contracts.
- Standard credit guidelines remain in effect.
- Interest accrues during the 90-day deferment period.
- To maintain eligibility and avoid dealer chargeback, customers must make three separate, full payments after the 90-day period ends.
